Pak delegation interacts with Delhi Metro MD

New Delhi , April 18

A PAKISTANI delegation led by Mr Ishaq Khan Khakwani, Minister of State for Railways, today interacted with the Managing Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (DMRC), Mr E. Sreedharan, and other officials to get a first-hand exposure to the latest techniques used by the corporation that has established one of the most modern metro systems in the world.

"A detailed presentation highlighting the technical features of the signalling, electrical, telecommunication, rolling stock and civil engineering techniques used by DMRC was outlined by Mr Sreedharan during his presentation to the delegation," a DMRC release said.

The delegation was shown the working of the automatic train protection (ATP), automatic train operation (ATO) and the automatic fare collection (AFC) systems of the Delhi Metro.
