Rajdeep Sardesai forms venture with TV18

Mumbai , April 19

MR Rajdeep Sardesai, former Managing Editor, NDTV, and Mr Sameer Manchanda, former Chief Financial Officer, NDTV, have formed a new venture, Broadcast News, in collaboration with the Television Eighteen (TV18) Group to launch television channels in the news and information space. Both Mr Sardesai and Mr Manchanda quit NDTV after a long stint.

When contacted Mr Haresh Chawla, CEO, CNBC-TV18, said details of the new venture would be announced next week. He declined to give any details on the holding structure, the format, the staffing or the date of launch of the channels.
