Dish TV offers new DTH package

Our Bureau

New Delhi , April 19

IN a bid to compete with Doordarshan's free direct-to-home service, the Essel group-promoted Dish TV on Tuesday announced a new package, which does away with monthly subscription fee for various channels.

It has launched a new scheme wherein DishTV would offer a connection for Rs 3,990. The scheme will give customers a dual benefit: a reduced hardware price and subscription fees for a year incorporated in the cost.

The dish `Har Chhat Par' offer aims at making DTH entertainment affordable to everybody. Announcing the initiative, Mr Sunil Khanna, CEO, Dish TV, said, "The scheme has been introduced based on the feedback from viewers."
