Tata Elxsi Chennai centre

CHENNAI: Tata Elxsi Ltd on Wednesday inaugurated its centre here. At full capacity, the centre would house 100 people working on wireless technologies.

Addressing the media on the occasion, Mr Vivek Harinarain, IT Secretary to the Tamil Nadu Government, said that the project to implement a State-wide Area Network (TNSWAN) has received the first tranche of Rs 97.17 crore. He added that the project looked to network about 385 nodes, of which 206 were at taluk offices and the remaining were blocks.
