MCX settles physical delivery of April contracts

MULTI-COMMODITY Exchange of India (MCX) has settled physical deliveries of expired April contracts in jeera, chana and rubber.

The April rubber contract also resulted into physical delivery of 51 tonnes, valued at Rs 31 lakh. The jeera Ex Unjha contract expired with 45 tonnes physical delivery at Unjha warehouse at Gujarat whereas the Chana April 05 contract also witnessed a delivery of 580 MT, delivery ex-Delhi. The storage costs incurred for physical delivery of jeera was Rs 4.25 for 60 kg/month and that for Chana was Rs 3 per 100 kg per month for storage, MCX release said.
