Software Neilsoft eyes PLM solutions space Our Bureau

NEILSOFT is set to include to its portfolio the PLM (product life cycle management) space and also the embedded system, according to its Managing Director, Mr Ketan Bakshi. The company is currently in the areas of construction engineering services (CES), software engineering services (SES), mechanical engineering services (MES) and CAD. The new area of embedded system, Mr Bakshi said could be in the form of merger and acquisition, a greenfield project or even a subsidiary, expected to begin either by July or September. He said the company would get into instrumentation and control design next year. Mr Bakshi said the company is all set to begin its engineering centre, with local recruitment, in Chicago by June with an investment of $1 million and dedicated for the engineering design work. It also targeting the shipyard segment and is doing a pilot project for China Shipyard.
