BEA Systems to ramp up R&D

NEW DELHI: BEA Systems, an infrastructure software company, plans to raise its research and development headcount in the country to 400 by the year-end, from the existing 180.

"We are ramping up R&D, marketing as well as customer support operations in India. The development centre in Bangalore has 180 professionals and the number will be increased to 400 by this year-end," the BEA Systems Country Head (India,) Mr Shailendra Kumar, said.

The BEA Systems Senior Director (Business Development), Mr Induprakas Kodukula, announced the expansion of BEA Weblogic Services Delivery Solution with a new suite of products aimed at helping telecom companies improve service delivery while offering secure interoperability between IP-based wireless and wireline networks.
