AirTel Challenge

HYDERABAD: The qualification round of the Airtel's `One India Challenge' will kick off on April 23.

The first leg of the car rally would be flagged off in 23 cities across the country. These participants would then reach the four metros. Beginning May 8, these participants would compete with each other to reach Nagpur on May 11.

In the second leg, which would begin on May 12, a maximum of 200 rallyists would start their journey from Nagpur to reach Delhi by May 14. During the leg, the participants would cover a distance of 1,300 km. The first three finishers of the second leg would be awarded cash prizes.

A panel comprising FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sports Club of India) and Ernst & Young members would look into the aggregate of combined points from both the legs and the first three winners would get a grand prize of Rs 30 lakh, Rs 15 lakh and Rs 8 lakh respectively.
