IFMI to start PG courses from July

THE International Facility Management Institute (IFMI), which was launched in Bangalore and Hyderabad, will offer courses from July. A press release here says that IFMI will offer a Post-Graduate Certificate Course in Facilities Management (PGcFM) and a Facilities Management Practitioner (FMP) course from the International Facilities Management Association USA. The one-year PGcFM course comprises 24 weeks of study and 26 weeks of industry training in facilities management.

The course will also be conducted as a residential programme at the National Academy of Construction, Cyberabad, Kondapur Post, Hyderabad.

According to Mr Paddy Menon, Founder of the Institute and Chairman Emeritus, International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) India Chapter, "The course will offer a balance of academic and practical experience from real time practising facility managers and senior professionals in the industry with case studies and best practices from around the world."
