Whirlpool unveils Genius range of refrigerators

Chennai , April 25

WHIRLPOOL of India today launched `Genius' a direct cool refrigerator of 180 litres and a premium range of window air-conditioners for its four main markets — Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai and Delhi.

Mr Arvind Mediratta, Vice-President, Marketing, Whirlpool of India Ltd, said that the air-conditioners were sourced from a Chinese company called Gree, which is the second largest air-conditioner manufacturer in the world.

The company has an annual ad spend of about Rs 45 crore.
