NICKLEODEON, the children's channel, has tied up with Bombay Dyeing for a merchandising arrangement.

Nickelodeon Asia has tied up with Bombay Dyeing to feature characters from two of its shows, SpongeBob SquarePants and Blue's Clues, in a range of bed linen.

This range will be available across Bombay Dyeing's network of 450 exclusive outlets and 16,000 multi-brand outlets. The designs capture SpongeBob, a sea sponge who lives underwater, and the puppy Blue from the show Blue's Clues in various expressions amidst images of bubbles, butterflies and trees. Each of the two characters is available in two designs and priced Rs 699 onwards.

"The quality products, coupled with the lively images of Nick's characters, is sure to create a lot of buzz among kids," said Mr Sanjev Hiremath, Senior Vice-President, Network Development, South Asia (Licensing & Merchandising), MTV Networks.

"The initial response of all the products placed in the market has been overwhelming and we are looking forward to some exciting times with this association," said Mr Aloke Banerjee, Head-Domestic Business, Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Co Ltd.
