Montenegro, India to collaborate in maritime sector

New Delhi , April 26

A DELEGATION led by Mr B. Gvozdenovic, Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Montenegro, and Mr T.R. Baalu, Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, discussed areas of mutual co-operation and collaboration between the two countries in the maritime sector, including development of ports, shipyards and technological progress.

Mr Baalu highlighted the development of the country's maritime sectorin recent years, especially of private sector participation in container operations in the major ports, stated an official release.

Further talks will be held between the two countries to identify areas of co-operation in the maritime transport sector.
