Ballarpur net up 36% in Q3 at Rs 44.21 cr

BALLARPUR Industries Ltd (BILT) has posted a 0.84-per cent higher total revenue at Rs 565.35 crore, with paper revenues increasing 5.48 per cent to Rs 399.2 crore during the third quarter ending March 31, 2005. Net profit during the quarter was higher by 36.11 per cent at Rs 44.21 crore.

For the nine months ended March 31, 2005, BILT reported a 0.65-per cent growth in total revenues to Rs 1,669.83 crore, even as the paper revenues were higher by 6.89 per cent at Rs 1,215.49 crore.

During the nine-month period, net profit registered a 32.15-per cent growth at Rs 127.62 crore.
