Nucleus Soft Q4 net doubles

NUCLEUS Software on Tuesday posted a 96 per cent rise in its Profit After Tax for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 at Rs 8.54 crore compared to Rs 4.35 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

"Consolidated revenue from software products and software development services were up by 36.35 per cent in comparison to the corresponding quarter previous year. Consolidated revenue stood at Rs 31.02 crore for the quarter against Rs 22.75 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year," a company release said.

For the full year, consolidated revenues were Rs 103.14 crore against Rs 80.09 crore in the previous year. During the year, the company added 18 new clients and logged net addition of 173 employees. "This year's solid results indicate continued product leadership and solid market momentum," said Mr Vishnu R. Dusad, Managing Director, Nucleus Software Exports Ltd said.
