Bank of Rajasthan stamp franking biz crosses Rs 100 cr

Mumbai , April 27

BANK of Rajasthan has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in its stamp franking business within one year of getting the licence from the Maharashtra Government, according to a press release issued by the bank.

The release also quoted Mr Pravin Kumar Tayal, Chairman, Bank of Rajasthan, as saying, "We have now reinforced our creditworthiness with the crossing of the Rs 100-crore milestone."

The stamp franking business will also help the bank increase its fee-based income, he added.

Bank of Rajasthan currently provides this service at all its 14 branches in Maharashtra and is looking to offer the same service in other States such as Punjab and Rajasthan, the release added.
