WTC Mumbai trade team to visit Russia

WORLD Trade Centre (WTC), Mumbai is planning to take a trade mission to Russia to participate in the WTCA Asia Pacific Meet being hosted by World Trade Centre, Ekatarinburg (Russia) in May 2005.
WTC is keen to project India and its image in the present global world as India has potential in sectors such as pharma, IT, chemicals, auto components, steel, textiles and many others.
The WTC, having a network of over 280 WTCs in 80 countries with 7.5 lakh members, offers opportunities for doing business with these countries and networking for promoting bilateral trade, according to Mr Kamal Morarka, President of WTC (Mumbai).
Close on the heels of the grand success of the "WTCA Spring Meet 2005" at Mumbai hosted by the WTC which saw the presence of over 200 delegates from more than 50 countries and wherein business deals worth over Rs 50 crore were struck in less than 4 days, he said, in a release.
Ambassadors of various countries have come calling at the WTC Mumbai for increasing bilateral trade with their respective countries.
The Ambassadors of New Zealand, Romania, Mexico and the Russian federation are looking for an increasing role from the Mumbai World Trade Centre for improving bilateral trade relations with India.
The WTC, Mumbai would have special cell for important countries with which India can do and transact business with proper country wise information.
