Madurai-Manamadurai line

MADURAI: The inaugural of the special train in the newly-laid Madurai-Manamadurai broad gauge section will be flagged off here by the Union Minister of State for Railways Mr R. Velu, on Saturday.

The regular services will commence from May 1. The train will leave Madurai at 6 a.m. and 6.05 p.m. and reach Manamadurai at 7.15 a.m. and 7.20 p.m. respectively.

In the return direction, the trains will leave Manamadurai at 7.40 a.m. and 7.45 p.m. and arrive at Madurai at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. respectively, according to a Southern Railway press release.
