Reliance Energy for restricted power consumption

Mumbai , April 29

FOLLOWING the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission order of April 26, Reliance Energy in a press release has advised its consumers to restrict their power consumption in May and June.

The company has requested consumers to switch off neon signs, hoardings and floodlights of their establishments between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. A `Load Management Charge' shall be levied on all consumers whose consumption exceeds 500 units per month in the billing months of May and June.
