VERITAS Software Solutions has rolled out a data management product, Backup Exec Suite 10, for the small and medium business (SMB) segment.

Having launched the product in four metros in the first phase, the company is organising road shows in select tier II cities to promote the solutions available for protecting and managing data.

"SMBs in Coimbatore predominantly work on MS Windows. Our Backup Exec Suite is a perfect fit," Mr Murali Urs, Channel Sales Manager (South), Veritas Software, told Business Line. The company has traditionally focussed on providing backup software, data availability solutions, disaster recovery and clustering and replication software to clients across various verticals.
