Encouraging creativity

This is with reference to the article `Creativity in is in everybody (Business Line, May 2).

Most Indian schools lack educational tools that encourage creativity among students, since the approach to teaching is stereotyped. If at all any creative suggestions are proposed, these are not accorded attention by the officials of the concerned department.

Unless due recognition is given to the importance of nurturing creativity in schools, overall development will not take place.
