Sify tool for TotalFinaElf

CHENNAI: Forum, a supply chain management solution of Sify Ltd, is to be deployed for TotalFinaElf India's distribution operations. The project is expected to cover about 100 distributors of TotalFinaElf India this year, followed by 200 distributors in the future.Sify expects to complete the implementation within 18 to 24 months. Once implemented, distributors will be able to connect to the Internet for a short time every day to exchange information online with their principal. They will be able to use Forum for billing, goods receipts, inventory monitoring and generation of sales reports.

Some of the organisations using Forum in India are GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Pidilite Industries, Perfetti Van Melle India and Gillette India.
