Sony to host another reality show

BUOYED by the success of the reality show Indian Idol, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) has acquired rights to another reality show called Operacion Triunfo.

Fame Gurukul, the Indian name for the show, will select 14 singers who will live in a music academy. The show is a licensed adaptation of the Spanish reality show, Operacion Triunfo.

Presenters of the Indian show are Mandira Bedi and Manav Gohil. The chief of the academy is Ila Arun. The jury members are Javed Akhtar, KK, Shankar Mahadevan.

Auditions to the show have already commenced.
