mLogica's software development centre coming up in Pune

CALIFORNIA-based mLogica Inc is setting up its software development centre in Pune with a first phase investment of $7,50,000.

The centre would focus on mobile and wireless technology, remote systems and database management and enterprise application integration, Mr Amit Okhandiar, President and Managing Director, mLogica, said here on Wednesday.

Talking to newspersons, he said it would recruit close to 50 software professionals in Pune. mLogica US currently has a staff strength of 40.

He said the centre could seat about 70 professionals and the parent company would invest close to $1 million every year.

Mr Okhandiar said the Pune centre would also be looking at software development and remote infrastructure management of which its main product was mSecure.

It includes monitoring and call tracking applications, he added.
