AIMA convention in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The All India Management Association (AIMA) is holding its two-day National Management Convention (NMC) on September 23 and 24 at Hyderabad.

Announcing this here, the convention Chairman and Chairman of Satyam Computer Services, Mr B. Ramalinga Raju, said the event aims to focus on the challenges faced by corporates in the country, their implications on the business scenario and deliberates on key strategies for successful business performance.

According to the AIMA President, Mr Sunil Alagh, the convention through its deliberations hopes to help corporates and professional managers draw an action agenda with a view to meet the needs of business and industry and also develop India as an international financial and business hub.

The AIMA Director General, Major General D.N. Khurana, said the Boston Consulting Group would be the partner consultant to provide the required intellectual inputs for designing the convention.

Based on the theme `Best of the Best Insights from Indian and International Global Organisations', the convention proposes to discuss the best practices in various disciplines affecting not only business and industry but also socio-economic development of the country.
