Nuelight sets up design centre

NUELIGHT Corporation, a US-based company that develops technology and products for OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display manufacturers, has set up a design centre in Hyderabad.

The centre will develop OLED panel controllers from concept to mass production.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Dr Damoder Reddy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said the company would invest $3 million in the facility in the next two years.

By 2007, it planned to employ 100 engineers to handle full chip design.

He said the company focussed on developing solutions to meet key shortcomings of OLED displays.
