Covering groups seemed to panic while chasing the meagre arrivals to fulfil their weekly commitments. Buying from the futures market was also reported to be moderate. The rubber futures stayed in tune with the spot market on Friday. The May contract was traded at Rs 60.30 (Rs 60.11), June contract at Rs 62.15 (Rs 61.87), July contract at Rs 62.75 (Rs 62.68) and August contract at Rs 61.60 (Rs 61.51) per kg for RSS 4.
