KOLKATA: The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (has set up the Institute of Surveyors and Loss Assessors.

The articles of association of the organisation are now being finalised.

Mr Mathew Verghese, Member, Non-Life, IRDA, told reporters that the institute has recently been registered, not as a corporate body but as an independent, no-profit entity.
