HYDERABAD: Dr J. Geeta Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism and Sugar, had held discussions with senior officials from Iran during her visit to the Arabian Travel Mart at Dubai recently.

The agenda for the meeting was to explore tourism potential. Dr Geeta Reddy led a delegation comprising Mr K. Ravi Babu, Ms S. Swarna Sudhakar (both MLAs), and Mr Venkata Rami Reddy, Executive Director of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. The four-day expo was held during May 3 to 6.

The meeting with Iranian team discussed issues such as encouraging tour operators in both the regions and offering special quota for Iranian students in the MBA programme at the Hyderabad-based National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, a Government release said.
