Software Nucleus, Sun Micro in deal Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: Nucleus Software Exports Ltd and Sun Microsystems have announced an agreement under which the two companies would combine marketing efforts that encompass future of banking software solutions, Sun hardware and the Solaris operating environment. "With this joint marketing agreement, the company will offer scalability and flexibility in its' choice of platform to its' customers and Sun will enable porting and benchmarking exercises of the company's products on its applications," a Nucleus statement said. The agreement would combine the marketing and technical efforts of both the companies to ensure performance and support for current and future releases of the Nucleus' solutions running on Sun Enterprise servers and the Solaris operating environment, it added.
