HYDERABAD: Infotech Enterprises, the Hyderabad-based geospatial and engineering services company, has opened a facility at Frostburg in Maryland (United States).

To be managed by Infotech's US subsidiary, VARGIS, the new facility grew out of collaboration with Frostburg State University, Allegany County and the State of Maryland.

In a press release, Mr B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Infotech, said the new facility strengthened both onshore and offshore mapping production capabilities.
