Eye institute at Vizag

HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, will lay the foundation stone for the Visakhapatnam L.V. Prasad Eye Institute on Tuesday.

The facility, coming up at Hanumanthuwaka Junction, is part of the Health City planned by the State Government, an L V Prasad Eye Institute press release said.

The centre would act as an advanced tertiary care and training centre serving the population of the north coastal Andhra Pradesh. The institute would be operational in the second half of 2006.
