THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Great India Aviation Services Pvt Ltd has appointed Mr George Tharakan as the company's Managing Director.

He has worked in the airline industry for over 30 years and has served as Air India's Regional Director for the Gulf region and Regional Manager-Kerala, says a company press release.

The Great India Aviation Services Pvt Ltd is the general sales agent for Qatar Airways, which operates 10 flights from Kerala to various destinations in the Gulf.
