Veritas bags patent for FlashSnap

VERITAS Software Corporation announced that its Indian research and development centre has been awarded a patent for FlashSnap, a product feature in the Veritas Storage Foundation.

FlashSnap feature helps IT organisations create multiple copies of an application and quickly recover information. The copies can be used for testing, development and backup recovery.
