BLUE Star Ltd reported a net profit of Rs 20.88 crore for the fourth quarter of 2004-05, against Rs 20.52 crore in the year-ago period.

Net sales for the quarter grew 25 per cent to Rs 312.42 crore.

For the year-ended March 2005, net profit grew 20 per cent from Rs 32.55 crore in 2004 to Rs 39.16 crore in the current year. Total income of the company grew 30 per cent over the last year to Rs 930.92 crore this year. EPS rose from Rs 18.10 in 2004 to Rs 21.77.

The company has declared a dividend of Rs 10 per share, a rupee higher than last year's dividend.
