Mumbai , May 12

K PLAN Market Solutions, in association with the Mumbai Educational Trust & Young Explorer, is organising a three-day edutainment exhibition "Me & Mom" from May 27 at the MET Campus, Bandra.

The event is presented by Parle Products Private Ltd.

"Every purchase decision is a result of rational and emotional pulls. Mom and child as a composite unit has both these pulls. Hence, this is a unique platform for the brands to study their target consumers, and reposition if necessary," said Mr Shivdas Nair, CEO, K Plan.

When asked about Parle's role in the event, Mr Mayank Shah, Brand Manager, Parle G, said, "we are indebted to the children of this country for helping us grow into the world's largest selling biscuit company. Now we need to pay them back in some way.

It is also as a part of corporate social responsibility that we are into this," he said.

BEST and Mumbai Police will also partake in the exhibition along with other participants such as Dabur India Ltd, Kores India Ltd, Wipro Ltd, to name a few.

Various seminars and workshops that deal with topics like myths and realities of child growth, the problem child, will be held during the exhibition.
