Havell's Q4 net up at Rs 10.4 cr

HAVELL'S India reported a net profit of Rs 10.43 crore and gross sales of Rs 195.89 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005. For the fourth quarter of 2003-04, it reported a net profit of Rs 7.78 crore and gross sales of Rs 125 crore.

The company reported a 46 per cent jump in its net profit Rs 31 crore (Rs 21 crore) and an increased net sales by 59 per cent at Rs 665 crore (Rs 419 crore) for the year ended March 31, 2005. The company has proposed issue of one bonus equity share for every share held by the existing shareholders of the company. It also announced a dividend of 50 per cent, that is Rs 2.50 on an equity share of the face value of Rs 5 per share.
