SEBI postpones implementation of risk mgmt to May 30

Mumbai , May 13

THE Securities and Exchange Board of India has extended the timeframe for the implementation of risk management for stock exchanges to May 30 instead of the earlier May 18.

SEBI, in a circular to stock exchanges, said in view of the representations received from some of the stock exchanges requesting to make the provisions of the circular applicable, preferably, from Monday (instead of during the middle of the week), this change has been made.
