NEW DELHI: MatrixOne India, a Scandent Solutions subsidiary, announced that Ashok Leyland Ltd has chosen its product suite to provide an end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution.

The value of the contract for both MatrixOne licences and implementation services is $ 1.5 million , a company release said here.

For Ashok Leyland, the PLM implementation would help streamline the hand-offs in its manufacturing processes that pertain to product and application development, supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing. The solution is aimed at significantly reducing its vehicle development time and improving operating margins.
