Software Logistics - Software 7Hills bags FMT deal for cargo management system Our Bureau
Hyderabad , May 13 7HILLS, a US-based software company with a development centre here, has secured a contract from Federal Marine Terminals Inc (FMT), a subsidiary of Fednav Ltd, to provide an integrated cargo management system to handle operations at all its nine facilities. FMT, the US-based cargo handling major, will replace its legacy systems with an integrated cargo management system, provided by 7Hills, to manage all the cargo requirements, including terminal transfers, storage, stevedoring, cross dock, container stripping and stuffing and cargo delivery services. The software is expected to provide FMT flexibility to manage unlimited varieties of general cargo and the many varying demands of customer tracking requirements.
