Events Sun Tech Days to be held in Bangalore Our Bureau
Bangalore , May 16 SUN Microsystems has announced the Bangalore edition of `Sun Tech Days,' which is to be held on May 19 and 20 at the Bangalore Trade Centre at Whitefield. The event is targeted at professional developers, programmers, Web developers, content providers, service providers and system integrators, said a company press release. With a staggering 300,000 Java developers spread across the country, Sun's Tech Days are designed to provide participants with training and tools for enhancing the development of applications for the Internet, Intranet and enterprise environments. "The developer community is one of Sun's most important partners," said Mr K. P. Unnikrishnan, Marketing Director, Sun Microsystems India.. Mr Jeff Jackson, Vice-President, Java Developer Platform and Mr Matt Thompson, Director-Technology, Outreach & Open Source Programs Office, Sun Microsystems will address the conference.
