India Infoline ends Day 1 with minor premium

Mumbai , May 17

INDIA Infoline, a stock broking firm, today made its debut on stock exchanges with its shares listing at marginal premium to the offer price. The stock opened at Rs 87.15 on the BSE, touched a high of Rs 88.70, a low of Rs 76.75 and closed at Rs 78.05.

The company came out with IPO at Rs 76. A total of 69.60 lakh shares were traded on the BSE. On the NSE, the stock closed at Rs 78.05 with volumes of 1.49 crore shares.

Interestingly, the total number of shares traded both on the NSE and the BSE was more than the issue size.

The company had entered the capital market with a public issue of 1.18 crore shares while the total number of shares traded was 2.18 crore shares.

Of these, 20.19 per cent shares were market for delivery on the NSE and 17.14 per cent on the BSE.
