World Telecom Day awards

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Governor, Mr R.L. Bhatia, gave away the Vishisht Sanchar Seva Padak and Sanchar Shree awards to select employees of the Kerala Circle of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) at a function here on Tuesday on the occasion of the World Telecommunication Day.

The Vishisht Sanchar Seva Padak awards were given to Mr K. Balachandran, Junior Telecom Officer, Kozhikode Secondary Switching Area (SSA); Mr M.T. Vijayan, Sub-Divisional Engineer, Kannur SSA; and Mr K. Francis Jacob, Deputy General Manger (Planning) Thrissur SSA.

The Chief General Manager, BSNL, Kerala Circle, Mr S.A. Thomas, presided over the function.
