Cabinet to consider mid-term appraisal of 10th Plan today

New Delhi , May 18

THE Union Cabinet will take up for approval the Mid-Term Appraisal (MTA) of the 10th Plan (2002-07) on Thursday.

"The MTA will go to the Cabinet for clearance tomorrow," said Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, at the CII Annual Session.

After the clearance by the Cabinet, the MTA will go to the National Development Council next month.
