Hyderabad , May 18

SEAWAYS Rhenus Logistics, the joint venture logistics company, will represent India at the world's largest Global Logistic Trade Fair — Transport Logistica 2005 — in Munich, Germany, during May 31 to June 3.

It is for the first time that an Indian company would be displaying the full range of activities at the Munich fair. Seaways Rhenus, along with its global partners Kerry Logistics of China and Azkar of Spain, will be housed in the same pavilion to give the customers global synergies as well, according to a press release from the Hyderabad-based Seaways Shipping Ltd (SSL).

Seaways Rhenus is a joint venture between SSL and the Rhenus Group, a leading player in the European transport market from Germany. According to Mr Vivek Anand, Marketing Director, SSL, "As our joint venture operates in the European sector, we plan to host an India Day to generate awareness regarding the true potential of the Indian logistics sector. For the company, it would give the first mover's advantage."
