RBD palmolein, soya oil decline

RBD palmolein and soya oil refined imported declined on the local oils market on Friday in the absence of renewed buying interest amid increased offerings. Groundnut oil remained steady.

Castor oil moved down marginally on scattered enquiries. Castor seed June contracts ended higher on some buying support. Groundnut oil raw was steady at Rs 445 per 10 kg.

RBD palmolein was down a rupee at Rs 360 for 10 kg. Soya refined oil imported was down a rupee at Rs 360. Castor oil commercial grade was down a rupee at Rs 363. Castor seed June contracts opened higher at Rs 1628 a quintal over previous close on some support. They ended higher at Rs 1,631 a quintal over previous close, up Rs 9.

Sugar: Prices ruled steady on the Vashi wholesale market on Friday on restricted buying amid steady inflows, a trader said.

Sugar small grade (S-30) was steady at Rs 1,765/1,790 a quintal over previous close. Medium grade (M-30) was down Rs 5 at Rs 1,791/1,850 a quintal over previous close.
