SBI union flays transfer policy

Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Banks' Staff Union (SBSU), Kerala Circle, is embarking on the warpath protesting the management's flawed transfer policy.

Union members organised a demonstration in front of the State Bank of India local head office here on Monday.

Mr John Joseph, General Secretary, and Mr K. Raja Kurup, President, SBSU, led the proceedings.

The union members alleged that the bank had thrown norms to the winds while going about implementing the transfer policy. The SBSU Circle Committee has approved sustained protest programmes, including direct action, to demand justice from the bank management.
