Textiles Super Spinning net, income up Our Bureau
COIMBATORE: SUPER Spinning Mills Ltd has recorded a 10 per cent increase in income for the year ended March 2005, with net sales up at Rs 367.52 crore, compared to Rs 335.16 crore the previous year. Net profit was up 7.5 per cent at Rs 11.22 crore from Rs 10.43 crore clocked for the fiscal ended March 2004. The board, which took into records the audited financial results, has decided to pay a 40 per cent dividend. Raw material cost for the fiscal remained marginally higher at Rs 165.25 crore (Rs 162.46 crore). Other expenditure was up by Rs 14 crore at Rs 74.78 crore, against Rs 60 crore earlier. Profit before tax fell to Rs 13.69 crore (Rs 14.75 crore). The company provided Rs 3.55 crore towards current tax against Rs 2.80 crore last year.
