The visit is an ongoing initiative by Nasscom and the Australian Information Industry Association to increase partnership opportunities between emerging companies in the two countries. The Indian delegation's visit will coincide with CeBIT, the largest ICT event in Australia.

Mr Ganesh Natarajan of Zensar Techonlogies is leading the Indian delegation. Indian companies such as Concen Tek Pvt Ltd, Nucleus Software, Prologic First India Pvt Ltd, HCL Technologies (Australia) Pty Ltd, Elitecore Technologies Ltd and Pramati Technologies Ltd are participating in the initiative.

Mr Kiran Karnik, President, Nasscom, said, "Currently, India's software exports to Australia is around $105 million. The large Australian ICT market has already attracted a number of Indian ICT companies. The Indian ICT market is growing rapidly and offers significant potential for the export of advanced products and services from Australia."
