People Three executives quit iGate Global Vishwanath Kulkarni
Bangalore , May 23 THREE senior executives have quit iGate Global Solutions. Those who have quit are Mr Tiger Ramesh, the head of iGate's business process outsourcing division; Ms Anu Sharma, head of the human resource department; and Ms Jessie Paul, head of marketing. Mr Phaneesh Murthy, CEO, iGate Global, confirmed that the three officials have quit and said it was for various reasons. Incidentally, all the three were the part of the initial team at the business services provisioning start-up Quintant, in which Mr Murthy was a consultant. Subsequently, Quintant was acquired by iGate where Mr Murthy joined as the CEO. Mr Ramesh, the co-founder of Quintant, plans to pursue his interests in the eco-tourism sector. Mr Ramesh, along with a few others, plans to start a chain of eco-tourism resorts in the country, sources said. To begin with, Mr Ramesh is setting up a wildlife resort in Bandipur, sources said. Ms Sharma plans to focus on the human resource space. Ms Paul is joining Wipro Technologies as the chief marketing officer. Before her two-year stint at iGate Global, Ms Paul was the brand manager at Infosys Technologies.
