Public Sector Banks PNB's new ATM at Angamally Our Bureau
KOCHI: Punjab National Bank has opened a new ATM in the State at Angamally. Dr K.S. Radhakrishnan, Vice-Chancellor, Sree Sankara University of Sanksrit, inaugurated the ATM. The Kerala Zonal Manager, Mr S.V. Shenoy inaugurated the new premises of the bank's Angamally branch at the function. Mr Shenoy said PNB has arrangements with five banks for sharing ATM facility, called MITR. The bank is also entering into tie-ups with 10 other banks, including SBI, for sharing ATMs. With this, the ATM cardholders of PNB can have access to 60,000 ATM outlets across the country. Mr Shenoy said the Angamally branch would soon be connected to a centralised computer system, enabling anywhere banking facility from more than 1,200 branches of PNB, spread across 270 major centres.
